Breaking the Cycle of Violence
We are Survivor Corps, a global network of people helping each other to overcome the effects of war and violence. Working together, we rise above our injuries and give back to our communities.
What We Do
Empowering survivorsMore than 35 million people around the world have been robbed of their dignity, their homes and their livelihoods—due to armed conflict. Far too many victims lash out and seek revenge, perpetuating the cycle of violence. We offer survivors the tools and support to break this downward spiral.
Peer Support – We give survivors the essential support they need to begin to rebuild their lives.
Advocacy Training – We empower survivors to become effective human rights advocates.
How We Do It
Giving a voice to the voicelessWe work across the spectrum of issues and organizations that affect the lives of survivors. Survivor Corps is at the forefront of establishing international standards for survivor and disability rights around the world. We have a 10-year track record of results, improving health, economic opportunities, laws and policies for survivors of war and conflict.
Partnerships – We join forces with hundreds of organizations and lead efforts to advocate for better laws, policies and increased opportunities for survivors.
Programs – We offer a unique, multi-dimensional approach for rebuilding entire communities of survivors after conflict has ravaged a region.
Campaigns – We launch initiatives that focus on eliminating the weapons that cause indiscriminate harm to civilians, and on empowering individuals affected by conflict.
