Commemorating Genocide in Srebrenica

July 11, 2009, commemorates the 14th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide. In July 1995, Srebrenica, Bosnia, the world's first United Nations Safe Area, was the site of the worst case of genocide in Europe since World War II. More than 7,000 Bosnian Muslims were killed.
